The Side Zip Sneaker is one of two new hybrid styles that launched in Drop Three just a couple of months ago. This style sees the classic western inspired upper reinterpreted on a wider, round toe last and the distinct Vibram Plump Sole. One of our most experimental offerings to date, the Side Zip sneaker combines our traditional materials and manufacturing methods with modern components and techniques. Vibram’s Plump sole is crafted from the lightweight Morflex compound and features a custom tread pattern based on a biometric study of the human gait. While this won’t be replacing our Service Boot production anytime soon, the Side Zip Sneaker perfectly embodies the innovation and forward thinking perspective that continue to drive the brand today.
