In the US & Canada, Viberg Boots size differently so we recommend sizing down 1 full size, or if you have wide feet, 1/2 a size down. Unless noted, all widths are size E.

Our 2040 references a vintage 1940s work boot. The fit of this last is semi anatomical meaning the forefront is wider to allow room across the ball of the foot, while the waist and heel narrow to secure the foot and cup the heel.
In addition, the toe box is slightly elevated creating a slight bump, which allows more room for your toes while working.

For sizing, we recommended going one size smaller than your Brannock size.
The 2040 fits similar in length to our 2030 last.

Our N1 Boot was first introduced as a Japan Exclusive model. We have referenced various WWII models of this boot from our vintage archive to develop a more accurate version to the original - while making it authentically Viberg with our signature double-row Stitchdown construction.

Stitchdown Construction

We have been producing Stitchdown construction products for over 50 years, originally implemented in the 1970s. Recognizable by its signature double row of stitching, Stitchdown construction is synonymous with boot makers in the Pacific Northwest, due to its durability and ability to withstand the elements by wicking away water and dirt. With proper care and maintenance, as well as resoling and recrafting - our Stitchdown products can last a lifetime.

The N1 Boot

Although similar to our iconic Service Boot®, the N1 features a very high SPI throughout the upper stitching, along with a tighter throat and eyestay. This allows for a more secure fit, keeping the heel locked into place. This allows the entire silhouette to look and perform similar to an original N1 Boot.
